Our assistance with travel / transportation services covers a range of transportation options and support to enable individuals with disabilities to travel safely and comfortably. This service is meant to help the participants access the community, attend appointments and participate in social and recreational activities without being limited by safety concerns.

Under this service, our support workers will:
- Provide daily transportation to and from work or school.
- Offer assistance with travel to local community centres, libraries, shopping centres and other destinations.
- Support individuals with disabilities to visit their doctor or pharmacy as needed.
- Help individuals to access assistive vehicles provided by the NDIS that meet their specific requirements.
- Assist with planning and coordinating regular trips and getaways.
- Implement modifications to the participant’s vehicles to make them more accessible, such as installing hand controls or wheelchair lifts.
- Provide training on using public transportation systems or how to travel independently using their vehicles.
