As an NDIS service provider, we wish to help the participants develop the skills required to lead an autonomous life. We will help the participants lead an independent and fulfilling life by providing support to develop their daily living, communication, social, financial, problem-solving, decision-making and emotional regulation skills. We will collaborate with the participants and their family members to understand their specific needs and requirements and develop a personalised plan that best meets their goals.

As a part of our life skills development initiative, our support workers will:
- Plan and conduct sessions and activities to enhance personal skills such as problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Encourage independent living by supporting individuals in performing everyday tasks while prioritising safety.
- Foster autonomy by helping individuals keep track of medications and appointments.
- Help the participants develop financial management and budgeting skills.
- Encourage healthy dietary habits to maintain overall health.
- Assist in obtaining and using assistive technologies provided by NDIS.
- Help the participants develop emotional regulation skills by providing access to counselling services or mindfulness techniques.
This service is open to NDIS participants of all age groups and will be tailored to suit the participant’s specific needs.
